Privacy Policy
Effective 17 August 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Truth in Data AI, LLC, registered in the United States. For any question about this policy or about information we hold, contact us at hello@truthindata.ai.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, Truth in Data AI, LLC is the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form on this site:
- Your name, where you provide it
- Your work email address
- Your company name, where you provide it
- The text you write in the enquiry field
We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any special category data. We do not buy personal information, and we do not append third party data to what you send us.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information, for security and reliability purposes.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and to work out whether what we do is a fit for your business. That is the only purpose. Where the GDPR applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry that you started, together with the consent you give when you submit the form.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross context behavioural advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Who else handles it
We keep the list of third parties short. At present:
- Microsoft 365 hosts the inbox that receives enquiries.
- Vercel Inc. serves this website and keeps standard server logs.
These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Some of them operate outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where information is transferred out of those regions, the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown. If that changes, this page will be updated and a consent option will be added before any tracking begins.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact records for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship with you. Business contact details are not deleted on a fixed clock, because the reason we hold them, staying in contact with people who may want to work with us, does not expire on a set date.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@truthindata.ai. We will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.
Security
Information you send us is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access controlled business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here before they take effect.
